Someone in your audience asks where to buy guest posts. You name a marketplace, they sign up, and they keep ordering from it. Until now, if the marketplace you named was Serpverse, that was the end of your part.
Today we're opening the Serpverse Affiliate Program. Recommend Serpverse with your link or your code, and you earn 40% of our service fee on every order a buyer you refer completes, for 12 months from their first. A buyer who comes through your link or code saves on their first order.
The program is invite-only, and one rule comes before the rest: say you're paid, at the top, before your first link. This post covers what the program pays, what your audience gets, the rules, and how to ask for an invitation.
What the Serpverse Affiliate Program Is
The Serpverse Affiliate Program pays people who recommend Serpverse a commission on the orders of the buyers they introduce. An affiliate shares a link and a code. Each buyer credited to them earns them 40% of our service fee on every completed order for 12 months. A buyer who comes through the link or the code gets up to $10 off the service fee on their own first order.
Joining is free, there's no minimum to refer, and it doesn't change how you use your account if you already buy or sell here.
What an Affiliate Earns
Buyers pay a published service fee on top of each placement's price: $5 plus 18% of the price, and 8% on any part over $1,000. Commission is a share of that fee. It's never a share of the publisher's price, and publishers keep 100% of theirs.
| Order | Service fee | Commission at 40% |
|---|---|---|
| A $100 guest post | $23.00 | $9.20 |
| The same post as a buyer's first order, after their $4.50 saving | $18.50 | $7.40 |
| A $2,750 placement | $325.00, counted as $185.00 | $74.00 |
A buyer who orders one $100 guest post a month earns their affiliate $108.60 over 12 months: $7.40 on the first order, then $9.20 on each of the other 11. One placement earns at most $74. That's arithmetic on a fee anyone can check, not a forecast.
Two promises are in the Affiliate Agreement:
- Your rate is fixed for each buyer when they're credited to you. A later change applies only to buyers credited after it.
- We never shorten a buyer's 12 months. If we lengthen it, buyers you've already referred get the longer window too.
What Your Audience Gets
A recommendation lands better with something in it for the reader. A buyer who signs up through an affiliate's link, or uses their code when they sign up or at their first order, gets up to $10 off the service fee on that first order. It comes off our fee, never the publisher's price. It's for accounts with no orders yet, and a payment card can get it only once. Our referral discount guide shows the buyer's side.
There's also something specific to tell them. Most marketplaces sound alike in a roundup. On Serpverse, a person reviews each listing before buyers can see it, the publisher is paid only after the buyer approves the live post or their review window ends, and the fee is published. Those are details a reader can check.
Three Ways a Buyer Is Credited
A tracked click is only the first:
- The link. A visitor who opens it is remembered in that browser for 30 days. If they sign up there in that time, they're credited.
- The code. A new buyer types it when they sign up or at their first order, on any device — even one that never opened the link.
- The name. New accounts are asked how they heard about Serpverse. The code as the answer credits the affiliate at once; a name or channel is reviewed by hand, and we may match it. An answer alone doesn't earn the buyer the saving.
Each buyer is credited once, and never to the affiliate's own account. The code is what still works after a cleared cookie, on a second device, or in a podcast.
When and How Affiliates Are Paid
Each commission is held for 45 days after its order completes, so a refund or chargeback can settle first. Then we pay what's ready by the end of each month, in US dollars, by PayPal, Payoneer or bank transfer. A payout needs at least $20 ready, from at least two different buyers the affiliate referred. Before a first payout we run a sanctions check and ask US persons for a W-9.
If an order is refunded in full or charged back before its commission is paid, the commission is cancelled. If it's already been paid, the same amount comes off a later payout.
The Rules, Starting With Disclosure
We pay for buyers an affiliate introduces, not for buyers already on their way to us, and their audience should hear the truth about us. So the Agreement asks for a few things:
- Label it as an ad, before the first link. For example: "Ad: I earn a commission if you sign up through my link or use my code." In a video, say it in the first 30 seconds.
- Describe us with the facts we publish. No promises of rankings or traffic, and never "no fees" or "the cheapest".
- No bidding on our name, and no coupon sites. A code is a code, never a "promo code" or "coupon".
- No referring yourself, or accounts you fund, such as a client account whose deposits you pay.
None of this is unusual. The UK's advertising regulator holds both the business and the affiliate responsible(opens in new tab) for an affiliate's ads, the FTC says a disclosure has to be clear and conspicuous(opens in new tab), and Google asks sites to qualify affiliate links(opens in new tab) with rel="sponsored". We've written the same expectations into the program.
Who We're Inviting
People whose readers, viewers, clients or members buy placements:
- writers who review and compare SEO and link building services;
- video and newsletter creators who recommend tools to people who buy placements;
- consultants and agencies whose clients buy for themselves, from their own accounts;
- course and community owners whose members ask where to buy guest posts.
Publishers and buyers already on Serpverse can be invited too. Publishers earn on what the buyers they refer order from other publishers, not on orders for their own listings.
How to Ask for an Invitation
Places are limited, so the program opens by invitation. To ask for one, use the form on the Affiliate Program page: tell us where you'd share Serpverse and who your audience is. We read every request and reply by email. If the places are all taken, we keep your request and write to you when one opens up.
If we invite you, the invitation opens a page where you choose your code and accept the Affiliate Agreement, and your link works as soon as you join. Our Affiliate Program guide covers everything after that: your link and code, the Affiliate tab, the hold and payouts.
What It Changes for Buyers and Publishers
Nothing about what you pay or earn. Commission comes out of our service fee, so a referred buyer pays no more for coming through an affiliate, and publishers keep 100% of their price on every order. Publishers' share links stay a separate program with their own first-order discount, and a buyer is credited through one or the other, never both.
The Affiliate Program page has the current terms, one order worked through the fee, and the form. If your audience buys guest posts, we'd like to hear from you.
