Getting Started with Serpverse
What Is Serpverse?
Serpverse is a marketplace that connects buyers looking for high-quality backlinks with publishers who own websites and accept guest posts. Whether you want to boost your site's SEO or monetize your website traffic, Serpverse makes the process simple, transparent, and secure.
The platform handles everything from publisher discovery and order management to payments and quality assurance — so you can focus on growing your online presence without the hassle of manual outreach.
Creating Your Account
Serpverse uses social sign-in for fast, secure authentication — no passwords to remember or manage.
Step 1: Visit the Login Page
Navigate to the login page. You'll see options to sign in with your existing accounts.
Step 2: Choose Your Sign-In Provider
Click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft depending on which account you'd like to use. Both options provide the same level of access and security.
Step 3: Authorize the Application
Your chosen provider will ask you to confirm that Serpverse can access basic profile information (name and email address). Approve the request to continue.
Step 4: Automatic Redirect
After authorization, you'll be redirected back to Serpverse automatically. Your account is created on your first sign-in — there's no separate registration step.
Choosing Your Role
After your first sign-in, you'll be asked to select a role. This is a one-time setup step that determines which features and dashboard you'll see.
Buyer
Choose this role if you want to purchase guest posts and backlinks for your websites. As a buyer, you'll have access to:
- Marketplace — Browse available publisher websites filtered by niche, domain authority, traffic, and price
- My Orders — Track the status of your content placements from submission through publication
- Balance — Manage your funds, deposit credits, and view transaction history
- Websites — Add the websites you're building links for, making it easier to manage campaigns
Publisher
Choose this role if you own websites and want to earn money by publishing guest content. As a publisher, you'll have access to:
- My Websites — Add and manage the sites where you accept guest posts, set pricing, and define content guidelines
- Orders — View incoming requests, review content, and manage active orders through completion
- Earnings — Track your revenue, view payment history, and request withdrawals to your bank account
Navigating Your Dashboard
Once your role is set, you'll land on your personalized dashboard. Here's what to expect.
Dashboard Overview
Your dashboard is the central hub for all your activity on Serpverse. It displays key metrics at a glance — active orders, balance, recent activity — and provides quick navigation to every feature.
The sidebar on the left (or hamburger menu on mobile) gives you access to all sections. The main content area shows contextual data based on which section you're viewing.
For Buyers: Your First Steps
After setting up your account as a buyer, follow these steps to get started:
-
Deposit Funds — Navigate to your Balance page and add credits to your account. Serpverse uses a prepaid balance model, so you'll need funds before placing orders. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
-
Browse the Marketplace — Head to the Marketplace to explore available publisher websites. You can filter by:
- Niche/Category — Find publishers relevant to your industry
- Domain Authority — Target sites with the authority level you need
- Traffic — See estimated monthly visitors to gauge audience reach
- Price — Filter within your budget range
-
Place an Order — When you find a publisher that matches your criteria, click to view their full profile and pricing details. If it's a good fit, place an order directly. You'll provide your content or requirements, and the publisher will be notified.
-
Track Your Orders — Monitor the progress of your orders from the My Orders page. You'll see real-time status updates as your content moves through review, revision (if needed), and publication.
For Publishers: Your First Steps
After setting up your account as a publisher, here's how to start earning:
-
Add Your Website — Navigate to My Websites and click to add a new site. You'll need to provide:
- Your website URL
- The niches/categories your site covers
- Your pricing for guest posts
- Any content guidelines or requirements
-
Wait for Verification — Serpverse reviews new website submissions to ensure quality standards are met. This typically takes 1–2 business days. You'll be notified once your site is approved and visible in the marketplace.
-
Manage Incoming Orders — When a buyer places an order for your site, you'll see it in the Orders section. Review the content or requirements, and either accept the order or request revisions.
-
Publish and Complete — After accepting an order, publish the content on your website. Once published, mark the order as complete and provide the live URL. The buyer's payment will be released to your earnings (subject to the standard hold period).
-
Withdraw Earnings — Navigate to the Earnings page to view your available balance. You can request a withdrawal at any time once the 14-day hold period has passed. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect to your connected bank account.
Understanding the Order Lifecycle
Every order on Serpverse follows a clear lifecycle:
- Order Placed — The buyer selects a publisher and submits their order with content or requirements
- Publisher Review — The publisher reviews the order and either accepts it, requests modifications, or declines
- Content Creation — If the buyer provided requirements (not finished content), the publisher creates the article
- Publication — The publisher publishes the content on their website
- Completion — The publisher marks the order as complete with the live URL
- Payment Release — After the hold period, the publisher's earnings become available for withdrawal
Both buyers and publishers can track the current status of any order in real time from their respective dashboards.
Managing Your Balance
For Buyers: Depositing Funds
Serpverse uses a prepaid credit model. To deposit funds:
- Go to Balance in your dashboard sidebar
- Click Deposit
- Enter the amount you'd like to add
- Complete the payment through the secure Stripe checkout
Your balance updates instantly once the payment is processed. All deposits are in USD.
For Publishers: Withdrawing Earnings
When your earnings clear the hold period, they become available for withdrawal:
- Go to Earnings in your dashboard sidebar
- Review your available balance (separate from held/pending earnings)
- Click Withdraw and enter the amount
- Funds are sent to your connected Stripe account
Service Fees
Serpverse charges a transparent platform fee on each transaction to maintain the marketplace, provide support, and ensure quality:
- Buyer fee — A 15% service fee is added to each order. The total price (including fees) is displayed before you confirm any purchase, so there are no surprises.
- Publisher fee — Publishers keep 100% of their listing price with no deductions.
For full details, see the platform fees guide.
All fee structures are visible upfront. You'll always know exactly what you're paying or earning before confirming any action.
Account Settings
Customize your Serpverse experience from the Settings page:
- Profile — Update your display name and profile information
- Notifications — Configure email notifications for order updates, messages, and platform announcements
- Payment Methods — Manage your connected Stripe account for deposits (buyers) or payouts (publishers)
- Security — View your connected sign-in provider and active sessions
Tips for Success
For Buyers
- Start with a clear strategy — Know which pages you want to build links to and what anchor text makes sense before browsing the marketplace
- Diversify your publishers — Don't put all your links on one site. Spread across multiple relevant publishers for a natural-looking backlink profile
- Prioritize relevance — A link from a smaller site in your exact niche is often more valuable than one from a large, unrelated publication
- Provide quality content — The better the content you submit, the smoother the process and the better the final result
For Publishers
- Set competitive pricing — Research what similar publishers charge and price your listings accordingly
- Respond promptly — Fast response times lead to better reviews and more orders
- Maintain quality — Consistent quality keeps your site's metrics strong and attracts repeat buyers
- Keep your listings updated — Ensure your website details, niches, and pricing stay current
